The Heard Therapy

Equine and nature assisted psychotherapy and learning based in South Somerset. Small independent practice that focuses on providing a safe and contained space for young people to work through trauma, anxiety and manage neurodiversity.
I work particularly with young people who are neurodivergent and have experienced trauma, LGBTQ, anxiety, OCD, childhood trauma and abuse, attachment trauma.
The horses support the work by providing opportunities to learn about oneself, and build trust and self esteem.
Coping strategies are observed and developed from horse interaction and behaviour observation whilst also observing and learning about ones own physiological experience and emotional affect
